How to Add a Room Type to an Accommodation

Option 1) Adding a Room Type from the Quick Add menu


If you need to add a room type quickly, you can use the Quick Add feature at the top of the page. Clicking this option drops down a notification shade where you’ll find the Add Room button. 


This opens a popup where you can quickly enter the room name and the accommodation it belongs to.




Option 2) Adding a Room Type from the Accommodation


To begin, open the existing accommodation where you want to add a new room type and click on the Rooms tab. Once the accommodation page is open, look for and click the +Add Room button located in the top right corner and bottom left (under the list of rooms). Fill out the Room fields:


Room Name: The name of the room type that will be visible during booking.


System Name: An internal reference name used within your system.


Notes (Internal): Any notes you need to keep track of for this room, such as special features or restrictions.


Description (Public): A description that will be visible to clients, providing details about what the room offers.




Once the room type is added, if not already, navigate to the Rooms tab within the accommodation page. Here, you can attach specific images by clicking the image icon next to the room’s name. These images will appear in the Accommodation section alongside any general accommodation images when the room is selected, giving a clear view of the rooms on the itinerary.
