How to Add an Accommodation to a Trip

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of adding accommodations to a trip itinerary. We'll cover how to select the appropriate dates, add multiple rooms, and ensure everything is accurately reflected in the itinerary. 



Step 1. Navigate to the Trip Itinerary


First, open the trip page you are working on and navigate to the Itinerary section. This section is where you'll build out the day-by-day details of the trip, including all accommodations, activities, and services.

 



Step 2: Add Days


If you don't have any days on the Itinerary yet, click either '+Add Day' to add 1 day OR click '+Add Multiple Days' to add 2 or more days to the trip itinerary.



Alternatively, if you click '+Add' in the Itinerary toolbar, you'll get a few more options of which at the bottom are the Add 1 or more days option. This also includes the ability to Remove All Accommodations from the itinerary.




Step 3: Add Accommodation


Locate the Accommodation Button on the right-hand column of the day menu. This button is represented by a small hotel icon. Click on this icon to start adding an accommodation to the selected day.





When you click the accommodation button, a popup window will appear. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Day (Dropdown): This shows the day you clicked. It’s the starting day for the stay.

  • To (Dropdown): If the stay is more than one day, use this to select the last day. The options will match the trip dates.

  • Quantity: Select how many rooms are needed using the radio buttons (1 to 5). If more than 5 are needed, you can edit the Quantity in the Detail View.

  • Search for Hotel Room: Use this dropdown to find and select the specific hotel and room.

  • Is Optional?: Toggle this if the accommodation is optional for the client.

  • Add a New Cost?: Toggle this if you need to add a cost for the accommodation. You’ll then have the option to configure the cost.



Note: If the accommodation you're looking for isn't listed, double-check the spelling. If it's still not found, you may need to add a new accommodation or room type.
